DON’T LOOK AWAY

If you witness signals of sexual exploitation of children while you are travelling abroad, you have a choice: look away or see and report the problem. The “Don’t Look Away” campaign calls on travellers to be alert and to report suspected child abuse.

Dutch people who abuse children abroad are punishable. Both in the country where the abuse took place and in the country of origin. The police need your help to prosecute perpetrators. Children are vulnerable and deserve your help.

You can help protect children from people traveling to countries where they abuse children who are in a vulnerable position. Promote the “Don’t Look Away” campaign, be alert and report suspicions of child abuse abroad at: www.dontlookaway.report

The Don’t Look Away campaign is a partnership between the Ministry of Justice and Security, the Royal Police, the National Police, the ANVR, TUI Benelux, Defence for Children-ECPAT, Terre des Hommes, Plan Nederland and Free a Girl.
