After reporting

You can report suspicions of child sex tourism on this website. The report is received by Expertisebureau Online Kindermisbruik, which is a Dutch organisation that is dedicated to combating and preventing child sexual abuse.

What happens with my report? treats all information received through this website confidentially. After evaluating the report, we make the information anonymous (if desired) and send it to the Dutch police. The police evaluates whether the report contains enough leads for further investigation. If further investigation is possible, the police will contact their partners in the country concerned.

You remain anonymous would like to receive your contact details when you make a report. In this way, we can contact you with any questions and it increases the chance that the police can do something with your report. We treat your data confidentially. Your details will never be made known to the person whom you report. The police also won’t know that you have made a report unless you give permission to share your personal details.

You can also choose to make a completely anonymous report, without leaving any contact details. However, this decreases the chance that the police can do something with your report.

Follow-up questions

The police sometimes have follow-up questions. In this case, will contact you by email. We then provide you with three possibilities:

1) puts you in direct contact with the Dutch police. With your permission, we send your contact details to the police and they will contact you. You will no longer be anonymous.

2) If you wish to remain anonymous, we can put you in touch with Team Criminal Intelligence (Team Criminele Inlichtingen, TCI). With the TCI, you can anonymously and without obligation provide information.

3) If you do not wish to have any contact with the police or the TCI, can mediate between you and the police. We provide you with the questions by email. We then send your answers anonymously to the police.
